MFG Day 2017
We're proud to host several groups of students for MFG Day 2017 the week of October 2-6 at the following times:
Monday, October 2 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM (tour)
Wednesday, October 4 at 9 AM (tour)
Friday, October 6 10:00 AM tour with guest speaker, Larry Mikita from Schmidt Technology
MFG Day is an event in which manufacturers are given the opportunity to open the doors of their facilities to students and address common questions and misconceptions about manufacturing.
At American Wire and Prototype and Short-Run Services Inc., we don't often have the chance to meet with people outside of the specific industries that we work with, so we're very excited to welcome a diverse group of students into our facility in Orange, California!
MFG Day is intended to foster the discussion of various issues within the manufacturing community, including skilled labor shortages, the public image of manufacturing and the future of the industry.
